The presidency has confirmed social media reports that Abubakar Malami, the attorney general of the federation (AGF) wedded President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Nana Hadiza, at the weekend.
The secret wedding ceremony reportedly took place on Friday at the Aso Villa Abuja.
The bride, previously a divorcee with six children, is now the third wife of the minister – after – Aisha and Fatima.
She is the third daughter of the president from the first wife, Safinatu, who died earlier in 2006.
“It is true,” Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu confirmed to PUNCH. “The AGF got married to the President’s daughter.”
