A 72-hour massage-a-thon attempt which began on July 1, 2023 by Nigerian masseuse, Joyce Ijeoma, was halted after she collapsed while trying to achieve the feat.
Ms Ijeoma has reportedly done over 50 hours of the massage-a-thon, taking place in Ikate, Lekki area of Lagos State, before breaking down.
A viral video trending on social media on Tuesday showed when she fell while live-streaming her efforts.
The clip seen by TODAY POLITICS also showed two of her colleagues trying to her through the ground for balance before the live-stream abruptly ended.
She aims to overthrow the longest-massage world record holder Alastair Galpin in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, who broke the record with 25 hours and 4 minutes.
