President Bola Tinubu has assigned portfolios to his appointees recently confirmed by the Nigerian Senate as his ministers.
This was made public in a statement released Wednesday evening, announcing former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Mr Wike was alleged to have rigged the February 25 presidential election in the state to favour the president who belongs to the All Progressives Congress (APC), where other ministers were drawn from.
