The national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Abdullahi Adamu has arrived at the venue of the ruling party’s convention ground.
Northern State Governors on the platform of the APC had began searching for Mr Adamu after he announced Senate President Ahmad Lawan as the consensus candidate of the party, a decision they disagreed with.
After the announcement, President Muhammadu Buhari told the visiting governors that asked him to pick his successor from the South, that he has no anointed candidate to succeed him.
This necessitated the governors to go in search of the top APC official Monday night at his residence in Abuja but he was no where to be found.
Tuesday evening, Mr Adamu resurfaced at the event taking place at the Eagle Square amid accreditation of delegates for the elective exercise.
