Charles Soludo, gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) won his polling unit during the governorship election on Saturday.
Mr Soludo, who first expressed displeasure at the failure of electoral devices and voted after about five hours later, polled 126 votes, with his closest rival, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) securing only five votes at the Isuofia ward, polling unit 2 in Aguata local government area.
Andy Uba of the All Progressive Congress (APC) trailed behind Mr Ozigbo with three votes out of the 140 votes at the polling unit that ended voting at about 7:20pm.
Like his benefactor, governor Willie Obiano also took the lead at his Polling unit 004, Eri Primary school, Anambra East LGA.
Mr Obiano polled 158 votes out of a total of 191 votes. Mr Ozigbo trailed behind with 20 votes while Mr Uba got 12 votes while Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) came last with only one vote.
