President Bola Tinubu is better than his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate Chief Whip, Ali Ndume, says.
Ndume stated this on Friday when he appeared on Channels Television’s Politics Today where he defended the rendition of Mr Tinubu’s campaign song at the joint session of the National Assembly.
He said the successor was better than his predecessor because the former appears to be in charge of his administration while the latter was not.
“The President here is in charge. He takes charge, unlike our former President,” the Borno South lawmaker noted. “That President will just give you an assignment, he will not look over you.
“That is where the problem is and he (Buhari) knows that. That was the mistake President Buhari made. He ended up confessing these days that he had more kleptocrats in his government that people that had more interest at heart.”
