Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Sunday morning clashed in Enugu State.
Two persons were reported dead while unknown numbers of operatives of the secret police are said to be missing as at press time.
Trouble started when members of the proscribed group gathered for a meeting at Emene area of the state. While they were gathering, operatives of the DSS appeared in a bid to disrupt the peaceful gathering.
One thing led to the other and the duo clashed. Calls for back up of the police and soldiers were made to assist the secret police in foiling the meetings.
