The second batch of Nigerians from war-torn Ukraine arrived Abuja Friday evening, hours after the first batch.
The returnees took refuge at nearby countries as Russian forces invaded the European country.
While the first batch landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport from Bucharest, Romania, the second batch came in from Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
“The Second batch of Nigerians from #Ukraine arrive Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja at about 6:30 local time from Warsaw, Poland. 04/03/2022,” the Twitter handle of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission announced.
