A protester whose identity is yet to be ascertained as at press time has been gunned down by men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in Lagos State.
While the deceased died at the Surulere scene of the protest, two others, a man and woman, sustained gun shot injuries and are currently in critical conditions.
This is coming hours after the caution on the use of firearms against protesters by the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu.
The development comes two days after protester Jimoh Ishaq was killed in Ogbomosho, Oyo State. President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered investigation into the Saturday killing.
