Edo State residents went out today to elect who governs them in the next four years.
While there are 14 participants, the race is largely seen as a contest between Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP seeking re-election and Osagie Ize-Iyamu, candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC) seeking to oust the incumbent.
This live results are from Premium Times, an online news portal with reporters across the state covering the exercise.
They are a total of 2,627 polling units, 192 wards in the 18 local government areas of the state with over 2.2million voters out of which 1,726,738 that have collected their permanent voters cards are eligible to participate.
