The Supreme Court has fixed August 31st as the day it will deliver judgement on the appeal brought to it with regards to the governorship election in Kogi State.
The Peoples Democratic Party PDP and its candidate, Musa Wada, had approached the apex court, presenting evidence on why it should be declared winner of the last year exercise.
They are challenging the declaration of Yahaya Bello, candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), as winner of the exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
