Hope Uzodinma on Monday took another oath of office, beginning his second term in office as Imo state governor.
President Bola Tinubu and former President Olusegun Obasanjo were some of the dignitaries present at the ceremony that took place at the Dan Ayiam Stadium in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio; the Speaker of the House of Representative, Tajudeen Abbas, and other All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains were among those in attendance.
He was re-elected November last year, trouncing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In his speech, the governor promised to perform more than he did during his first term in office.
