Nasir El-rufai, governor of Kaduna State on Wednesday named Ahmed Bamalli as the new Emir of Zazzau.
This was made known in a tweet by Samuel Aruwan, media aide to the Kaduna helmsman.
Mr. Bamalli, a career diplomat and ambassador, replaced Shehu Idris, Zaria’s long-time emir who passed on on September 20 at 84.
