

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the new national minimum wage bill into law.
Mr Buhari gave his assent to the bill on Thursday at the presidential villa, Abuja.
The personal assistance to the president on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, announced this in a tweet.

With the signing of the bill, Nigerian workers will now be paid N30,000, an increase of N12,000 from the N18,000 previously being paid.
