The Bayelsa State Election Tribunal has nullified the election of governor Duoye Diri, the state governor.
The nullification gave in a verdict this morning was brought before the tribunal by the Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party, praying the governorship election be nullified on grounds that it was unlawfully prevented from taking part during the exercise.
The tribunal also ordered a fresh election to be conducted within 90 days beginning today.
