The Edo State All Progressive Congress APC has reacted to the declaration of Godwin Obaseki, as the winner of the state gubernatorial election.
Mr Obaseki, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP who scored over 307,000 votes to emerged victorious also crushed Osagie Ize-Iyamu, his major opponent in the latter’s local government area.
Mr Ize-Iyamu came second with 223,619 votes despite securing the support of Adams Oshiomhole, the predecessor of his opponent.
Reacting to the development, the state opposition party said it was not yet over, until it is, an indication that it might approach the judiciary.
“IT’S NOT OVER, UNTIL IT’S OVER,” the Edo APC said in a Sunday afternoon tweet.
