Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has formally dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after threatening to do so.
Mr Ayade while dumping the party defected to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
TODAY POLITICS had reported earlier that some state governors of the ruling party were in the state to woo him into their fold.
Maamman Mohammed, the director of media to Mai Buni, Yobe state governor and caretaker committee chairman of the APC confirmed the detection.
