The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has threatened to down tools nationwide over the failure of the federal government to appoint a governing council for federal universities.
Emmanuel Osodeke, ASUU President made the threat on Tuesday at a press briefing, saying the Bola Tinubu administration has been given enough time to do the needful.
Mr Osodeke, recalled the dissolution of the governing council of universities last year May among other pressing issues.
