Charles Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has reacted to his performance as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) continues to collate election results from the 21 local government areas.
TODAY POLITICS observed that Mr Soludo, a former central bank governor, has maintained his early lead, winning in about 14 local councils in the state as at press time.
“A cool Sunday evening,” the APGA candidate said on Twitter. “It is indeed the Lord’s day and we must first thank God almighty for his mercy. Indeed, “many are the afflictions of the Righteous, but the Lord delivereth him from them all”.
“Good evening my people,” he added.
