Andy Uba, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the ongoing governorship election in Anambra State has won in his polling unit.
Mr Uba scored 80 votes out of 106 who exercised their franchise to trounced Charles Soludo who trailed behind with 10 votes at Saint Peter’s Catholic School, Uga Ward 1, Polling Unit 7 of Aguata Local Government Area.
Similarly, Valentine Ozigbo, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerge winner at Social Centre PU 011, ward 005 Amesi, Aguata LGA.
Mr Ozigbo, a former Transcorp chief scored 74 votes out of 84 votes cast to beat Mr Uba and candidates Charles Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) who both scored 4 votes each.
Voting is still ongoing in some areas while counting has began in most polling units across the state.
