After regretting support for Muslim-Muslim ticket, Supreme Council for Sharia meets Tinubu

Barely 48 hours after lamenting about its support for the Muslim-Muslim ticket in the last general elections, the delegation of the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria (SCSN) met with President Bola Tinubu.

Sheikh AbdurRasheed Hadiyyatullah, president of the SCSN, had on Tuesday expressed their displeasure over the economic hardships in the country, saying the Tinubu administration it supported to power has fallen short of expectations.

The agenda of the meeting taking place at the State House Council of Chambers, Abuja, Thursday afternoon, was yet to be made public as at press time.
