Kidnapped students of Greenfield University in Kaduna State have been freed by their captors.
The victims, abducted on April 20, regained freedom on Saturday after the criminals released them along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway in the afternoon.
An official of the school was killed before the 19 students and three female workers were kidnapped. The kidnappers later killed five students after their demand for N800million ransom was not complied with.
Pouring out their aggression, the parents of the victims said they sold their properties and paid 180million to the kidnappers before their children were released. They accused Kaduna State government and the federal government of nonchalant attitudes towards rescuing their children.
