Governor Yahaya Inuwa of Gombe State has made public his intention to seek re-election in 2023.
Mr Inuwa of the All Progressive Congress (APC) declared his intention at the weekend while launching an empowerment scheme in support of the less privileged from Jekadafari area of the state.
The scheme is sponsored by Jekadafari Community Forum.
“Considering the overwhelming support I am now enjoying from the people of Jekadafari and the state at large, I have every confidence to face whoever wishes to run for the governorship seat in the state,” he said on Saturday.
