The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday deployed its operatives at the venue of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary taking place in Abuja.
Although no official reason was given by the anti-graft agency on why its operatives attended the event at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, it might not be unconnected to reports of bribery allegedly committed through proxy by aspirants who are jostling for the party’s ticket.
A trending video clip shows the moment an agent of the commission was searching a popular polythene bag widely known as “Ghana Must Go.”
