Bola Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor on Thursday goofed again at a book launch in honour of Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Acknowledging dignitaries in attendance at the event held at the Banquet Hall, presidential villa, Abuja, the All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain was caught on camera erroneously describing Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, as wife of the president.
“Your excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, ably represented by the chief of staff; his excellency the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo; her excellency first lady, Dr. Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari; your excellency wife of the president, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo,” the former governor who chaired the event said despite reading from a prepared speech.
Tinubu paused for some seconds before continuing from where he stopped.
This is not the first time he will be goofing in public. During a colloquium to mark his 69th birthday in Kano late last month, he called for the recruitment of 50 million security personnel into the various security agencies but corrected himself in a statement issued barely 24 hours after, saying the actual number should be 50 thousand security personnel rather than the 50 million he described as a mistake.
