Operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) are yet to comply with the directive of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu.
Mr Adamu had yesterday banned the security outfit from mounting Nigerian roads. He also ordered that the stop and search routine by its operatives be halted henceforth.
But on Monday, Segun Awosanya, leader of the #EndSARS campaign shared a video clip showing the order of the Police IG was not complied with.
In the thirteen-second clip shared by Awosanya, five police officers on uniform were seen on the road while their hilux van was stationed nearby.
He said the operatives were seen in Gombi area of Adamawa State, Monday morning.
Here is the exact location. From our record. The IGP’s order is yet to make any impact on ground. #EndImpunity pic.twitter.com/oa42Z0k7Nq
