Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in new gaffe, prayed to God to bless the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Tinubu is in Jos, the Plateau State capital to flag-off his presidential campaign. President Muhammadu Buhari, and top government officials, also attended the event which held at the Rwang Pam Stadium.
After addressing his supporters at the campaign ground, Mr Tinubu tilted towards end his speech with “God bless Nigeria, God bless PD….,” a trending video clip by TVC showed, before he recalled the name of his party, “…APC, APC, God bless APC.”
This is not the first time the ruling party’s candidate would be committing gaffes at public functions which he attends.
The last trailing today’s goof in Jos occurred while he was in Kaduna last month, hailing the state governor, Nasir El-rufai, for turning a rotten situation to a bad one, a remark his campaign council claimed was as a slip of tongue.
He is being reported in some sections of the media as suffering from dementia, a development that probably may have led to him avoiding presidential debates and opting for town hall meetings, most of which he reads from a prepared speech.
