Former Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose was on Wednesday sighted on commercial motorcycle popularly known as Okada.
Mr Fayose who posted the picture of himself and his security detail on a motorcycle explained that he was attempting to catch up his flight.
Posting the photos of his journey to the airport on social media, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain said he opted to take Okada in other to beat the traffic in Lagos State.
“Lagos traffic is no respecter of anyone,” Mr Fayose said. “I had to take Okada in Ikeja to avoid missing my flight.”
Driving in Lagos requires a lot of patience because road users in the commercial capital of the nation are very intolerant and often disobey traffic rules.
Available data shows that poor driving habits, poor road network, inadequate road capacity, and lack of parking facilities constitute the greatest causes of traffic congestion in the Yoruba predominant state and the country at large.
