Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State has returned back to the country from London.
Mr Tinubu, according to Sahara Reporters, quietly returned Friday evening, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu welcoming his predecessor back home.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain who reportedly landed at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos was said to have shunned a fanfare organised in his favour.
“Tinubu has quietly returned tonight,” a source, the news medium quoted, hinted. “He returned quietly but can’t stand the rigours of a physical rally.”
The recuperating politician has been away from the country since July when he was flown out for a knee surgery which was successful.
While he was away, rumors of his death filtered in, a speculation which prompted politicians, including President Muhammadu Buhari, to visit him at his London abode.
