The Supreme Court on Friday affirmed the election victories of six state governors after dismissing petitions against the state helmsmen.
Governors Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe) and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state, all got favourable judgments from the apex court.
While Mr Oborevwori is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) other governors were elected on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Details of the judgments are not readily available as at press time.
