Protesters in Abuja were barred by security agents from marching to the National Assembly from the Unity Fountain at the nation’s capital.
To commemorate the brutal massacre at the historic EndSARS protests last year, the protesters led by political activist Deji Adeyanju and Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore, gathered at the Unity Fountain from where they proceeded to the national assembly to continue their protest.
But a combined operatives of Soldiers, State Security Service (SSS) and the Police block their way by mounting barricade and asking them to return from where they came from.
After arguing for over an hour without progress the demonstrators withdrew and headed towards the Unity Fountain.
