The appointment of Dagogo Iboroma, a senior advocate of Nigeria, has been confirmed by a faction of the Rivers State House of Assembly (RSHA).
Governor Similanayi Fubara forwarded his name as a commissioner-nominee to the house led by Victor Oko-Jumbo.
Mr Oko-Jumbo and his colleagues on Monday affirmed the appointment after the nominee was screened, pledging to uphold the rule of law and serve the state diligently, irrespective of the ministry he will be deployed to.
After exhausting the business of the day, the house adjourned to Thursday May 16.
