The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has seized the travelling documents of Betta Edu, the suspended Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation minister and those of her predecessor, Sadiya Farouq.
The duo granted bail on Tuesday, are being probed for various financial malfeasance during their stewardship as investigations continues Wednesday.
While Ms Edu is facing accusation of fraudulently disbursing about N600 million for vulnerable people in four states of the federation, Ms Farouq is alleged to have laundered over N37 billion while in office as minister.
