The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has announced the confirmation of 481 fresh cases of Coronavirus disease infections in the country.
This was made known in its latest daily data published Thursday night. The report also noted that while 266 patients recovered from the deadly virus in the past 24 hours, 5 deaths were recorded nationwide.
The new figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to 42,689 out of which 19,270 of it have been treated and discharged while the death toll increased to 878 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 481 new cases are reported from 15 states- FCT (96), Lagos (89), Plateau (68), Ogun (49), Edo (44), Rivers (43), Oyo (25), Osun (23), Delta (15), Enugu (11), Kano (7), Kaduna (7), Bauchi (2), Bayelsa (1) and Yobe (1).
