Hadi Sirika, the immediate-past minister of aviation, is reportedly being grilled by the State Security Service (SSS).
The former minister was said to have honoured the invitation of the secret police Thursday.
Mr Sirika, it was learnt, is being questioned over the hurried launch of state-owned Nigeria Air at the tail end of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
He is said to have floated an aircraft belonging to Ethiopia Airlines as that of Nigeria Air, returning it to the owners a day after its launch in Abuja.
The acting Managing Director of Nigeria Air, Captain Dapo Olumide, while appearing recently before the Senate Committee on Aviation, reportedly confirmed that the aircraft that flew in with the logo of Nigeria Air was chartered from the Ethiopian Airline for the purpose of unveiling the Nigeria Air logo.
