The National Assembly has shifted its resumption date after the yelutide season.
The legislative arm was billed to resume Tuesday next week but that has been shifted, according to a statement from the clerk, Olatunde Amos.
Mr Amos says the two chambers at the national assembly will now reconvene next month, February 9th, 2021.
He added that the shift became necessary to enable lawmakers of the All Progressive Congress (APC) participate in the registration and revalidation of membership which begins January 25th, 2021.
“All inconvenience caused by this change of date are regretted,” the communique titled “Special Announcement” added.
