The federal government has summoned the organised Labour for an emergency meeting to iron out issues pertaining to the their demands for an increases wage.
The National Salaries Wages and Income Commission extended the invitation, a day after workers the workers downed tools.
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and their affiliates were summoned for to appear on Tuesday but it was not immediately clear if the workforce body will honour the invitation.
Last week, the organised Labour rejected the N60,000 proposal of the government, slashing its minimum wage demand to N494,000.
