Mukhtar Hazo, the deputy speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, has been impeached.
Mr Hazo removed on Thursday, was impeached after 24 members of the 34-member house passed a vote of no confidence on him in a sitting presided over by the speaker Yusuf Zailani.
As at press time, no reason has been given for kicking him out and being replaced with Isaac Zankai, another member representing Kauru constituency as the new Deputy Speaker.
