Emeka Ihedioha, former governor of Imo State, has denied commending President Muhammadu Buhari for arresting and extraditing Nnamdi Kanu, detained leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).
Several online publications excluding TODAY POLITICS had reported that Mr Ihedioha had commended the president over the extradition of Mr Kanu who leads the South-East based secessionist group.
But in a terse statement by his aide, Chibuike Onyeukwu, the former House of Representatives deputy speaker said at no time did he author such purported story.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain said It was obviously the hand work of fifth columnists.
“Those behind this criminal and condemnable act should, for their own good, retrace their steps or be ready to face the full weight of the law when apprehended,” the politician threatened.
