Samia Suluhu Hassan has been sworn in as Tanzania’s first female president on Friday.
The 61-year-old former Vice President replaces her principal, John Magufuli who died of heart attack Wednesday evening.
Doctor Hassan paid tribute to Magufuli and pledged to respect the constitution.
