Four families were lucky to have escaped when a storey building at No 15 Oke Arin Street, off Shillon, Onipanu, a suburb of Lagos State, showed signs and collapsed Tuesday night.
The South-West Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Ibrahim Farinloye who confirmed the incidents said efforts are on to retrieve household items from the collapsed structure belonging to Christ Divine Church.
“The four families escaped to safety after noticing signs from the building,” Mr Farinloye said. “Efforts are on ground for the families to retrieve their personal belongings.”
