The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has denied arresting Ebelechukwu Obiano, to the immediate-past governor of Anambra State Willie Obiano.
An online medium, citing sources at the anti-graft agency, said the Anambra North senatorial aspirant who came to limelight last month during the inauguration of Governor Charles Soludo, was picked up on Thursday.
Debunking the report, Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesperson for the EFCC, said the commission does not have the former first lady in its custody.
