The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the release of Osita Okechukwu, the director-general of the Voice Of Nigeria (VON).
Mr Okechukwu was detained on January 29 after honouring the invitation of the anti-graft agency over an alleged case of conspiracy, abuse of office and misappropriation of public funds.
Confirming his release on Saturday to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Wilson Uwujaren, spokesman of the EFCC said the VON official was released on bail two days after, on January 31.
