Senator Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has been elected deputy Senate President of the 9th Senate.
Mr Omo-Agege defeated Ike Ekweremadu who belongs to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to clinch the position.
