Ifeanyi Ejiofor, counsel to detained leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, says his client will appear in court on Tuesday.
Mr Ejiofor announced the development in a statement reproduced across his social media accounts on Wednesday.
Mr Kanu was earlier scheduled to appear in court on October 11 but has now had his case brought forward to September 13.
He is facing 7-count charge bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism for demanding the breakaway of present-day South-East and South-South geo-political zones from Nigeria.
