A federal high court in Abuja has vacated an order halting the national convention of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for taking place.
The caretaker chairman of the ruling party, Governor Mai Buni of Yobe State, was earlier accused of procuring a court order, through proxy, to stop the elective exercise and elongate his stay in office.
The convention was rescheduled to March 26.
Delivering judgment on Friday, Justice Bello Kawu, vacated the order, adding that a member cannot sue his or her political party.
