The Nigerian Senate has suspended plenary for one week so as to allow lawmakers at the red chamber to participate in the zonal public hearing review of the Nigerian constitution.
The event scheduled to hold in twelve centers across the country, according to Senate President Ahmad Lawan who presided over plenary, will be on 26th and 27th May, 2021.
The top lawmaker also urged Nigerians to participate fully in the exercise as the National Assembly has no pre-conceived agenda but would be opened to suggestions on how to move the country forward.
