President Muhammadu Buhari is billed to meet with all presidential aspirants of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Saturday night.
Sources from the seat of power in Abuja Saturday evening say the president will unveil his preferred successor at the gathering expected to begin at 8:00pm.
His decision to handpick his successor might not augur well with one of the aspirants, Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, who has kicked against the consensus mode of primary.
Mr Tinubu has continued to maintain that he will not accept the option except he is the beneficiary for him to realise his life-long political ambition of becoming president even if it means to fight dirty.
