President Muhammadu Buhari has submitted a supplementary budget to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
The demand for consideration and approval is contained in a letter read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan during plenary on Tuesday.
Mr Buhari said while N106billion provided in the Supplementary Bill would be used as capital expenditure, N43.87billion would be spent on recurrent expenditures.
The supplementary budget includes N2.557trn meant for subsidy on petroleum products from June to December 2022.
