President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presenting the 2021 appropriation bill to the national assembly, as at press time.
The sum of N13trillion has been mapped out for expenditures next year.
Mr Buhari made the presentation today at floor of the House of Representatives, venue of the joint session of lawmakers from the two chambers of the legislative arm.
Compared to budget presentations done in previous years, the President was only accompanied by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and a few ministers, while the others are expected to participate virtually.
This is in compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
